Organizational Structure

The operations and management of DAG is handled by three organs stated in order of their hierarchy:

  • Board of trustees
  • Management team
  • Advisory board/Patrons

The board of  trustees is at the apex of  the organization’s program. They hold the organization’s assets in trust and give policy direction to the organization. The management team deals with the day to day implementation of policies and management of DAG operations. The advisory board/patrons are on advisory capacity and therefore are referred to periodically on issues that fall within their professional competences.

Decisions flow from the apex organ to the lowest organ. The signatories to the organizations bank account are drawn from the management team and board of directors.  While the Board of trustees meet annual and the board of directors meets biannually. The management team meets quarterly and on need basis to take implementation decision arising from operational decisions of the board of directors.
